Although I was born in Germany, I have spent most of my life traveling back and forth between Colorado and Louisiana. I have grown to appreciate both states. Colorado for the beautiful landscapes and nature and Louisiana for its culture and amazing soul food. I’m thankful for all of the friendships that have flourished throughout the years, and I will always consider both places my home. Growing up, I never really had an athletic side to me but more of an artsy and freeing spirit. To this day, I love art, crafts, traveling and just about anything to do with creative expression. I paint with oils in my free time, as it is my way to escape the day-to-day. I also have a wonderful husband, Jacob and two fur children to help with that.
